My name is Scott Handley.
Your partner in talent strategy.
I created Osprey Talent Solutions in 2019 for the sole purpose of helping facilitate opportunities, for both those seeking and retaining top industry talent and for those looking for their next career opportunity. I built Osprey upon a values based mission that places the individual first and is motivated purely by results and the satisfaction of the client.
I have been pointing talented, high-performing individuals in the right direction for over 20 years. Whether as a Naval Officer, a University Administrator, a Talent Acquisition Consultant for a Fortune 500 company or more recently as a Talent Acquisition Manager and Senior Talent Partner for a growing Defense Cybersecurity and Engineering consulting firm.
Osprey Talent Solutions is a result of my passion for helping others accomplish their goals, helping companies align their corporate culture with their mission and aligning good people with great, meaningful opportunities.
On the home front, my wife and I are kept incredibly busy by our three sons. Whether it’s soccer or baseball, you’ll usually find us running from one event to the next or visiting our oldest son at college. When we’re not busy with school and sports, you’ll find the us traveling, enjoying life in the beautiful Tennessee hill country or just attempting to relax at home with our non-stop sons and obnoxious dogs.

What’s in a Name?
As a fly fisherman, I have spent quite a bit of time in ‘Big Sky Country’, specifically in Idaho and Montana. One of my favorite stretches of fly water is the Henry’s Fork, a tributary of the Snake River that flows just west of Yellowstone in Island Park, Idaho. This stretch of water is not only known for its beautiful western wild trout and gorgeous scenery, it’s also known for being the perfect spot to view Osprey in their natural habitat. These birds, in all their majesty and skill, make any fly fisherman envious of their ability to get their fish. The river is where I go for inspiration. It’s in that solitude that I’m able to refocus on what’s important. And over the years, I have shared many stretches of fly water with these amazing birds. Our name, Osprey Talent Solutions, was born in that solitude, while I was knee deep in the legendary Henry’s Fork.
Serving Those Who Serve
I am a former Navy Hospital Corpsman and Naval Officer. My dad served in Vietnam in the Marine Corps. My brother served in the Navy as a submariner. My wife’s grandfather served in the Navy towards the end of World War II. Our family’s history of service runs deep. Additionally, over the past twenty years, I have grown a network of both active duty and veteran friends and colleagues that I am incredibly grateful for. Many of whom are currently downrange and in harms way. Osprey Talent Solutions is looking forward to engaging with programs and organizations that help our service members make the transition to civilian life and thrive.
